Upcoming Events
Well 2010 is upon us and and we hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year(although not overdoing it on the turkey!)
Here at Montepiedra Sports Center we have already started back with our social weekly timetable so if you want to come along and join in the fun you will be more than welcome.
This year we will be running a monthly social tournament(Costa Blanca Cup) on the last Friday of each month (The next tournament is on Friday, March 5 in the Sport Center Montepiedra, with lunch afterwards in the club's cafeteria (under new management). So keep your eyes open for these although an email will be sent to all of you to remind you.
Golf Society. Anyone interested in playing please let me know.
We will also be trying to organize every month a social event away from the courts, either a day trip somewhere, wine tasting or sightseeing in one of the many historical towns around us. Again I will email all the details.

JANUARY 2010
Friday 29th
Costa Blanca Cup, January Social Tournament. 10am-2pm
A doubles tournament to be held at Montepiedra Sport Center, with lunch after at the ever popular Lilys restaurant in Torre de la Horadada.
FEBRUARY 2010
Saturday 6th
Bernie and Paul Norkett's Joint Birthday Fun Tennis. 11am-1pm
Lunch after tennis in the Pizzeria next door.
Everyone is welcome to come and play some tennis and then have lunch to celebrate their joint birthday.
Saturday 13th
Valentine's Wife Swapping Tournament. 10am-12 or 12 - 2pm
To be held at Campoamor Golf Course. A fun mixed doubles tournament for Valentine's Day where partners will be separated to avoid any bust ups before the big day. (Marriage guidance councelors will be on hand for any maritial disputes).
Thursday 18th
1st Costa Blanca Golf Society Day.- All Day
The first outing is to LA FINCA.If you wish to play, contact Gareth asap at gareth@costablancatennis.net

Final Costa Blanca South Tennis league. 1.30pm
To be held at Campoamor Golf Club betwween Orihuela Costa 1 and Campoamor All Stars.

To be held at the Pilar de Horadada Municipal Sports Center, with lunch after at Lily's restaurant,in the old square in Torre de Horadada.
